It is the ideal place for lovers of quiet living , of sport in contact with nature and old traditions.Lake Idro is the paradise for sports outdoor: swimmimg, sailing, windsurf, kite surf, kajak, mountain bike, trekking and paragliding.Thanks to the pleasant temperature of its waters (24° in summer) you can swim up to the end of September. In the afternoon , thanks to the constant presence of Ander the wind blowing from the South to North, the lake is a real training for lovers of windsurf and sailboats.In the morning, however, the lake looks like a biliard table to navigate, effortlessly, by canoe or boat in search of remote and lovely corners: a real show!.Going for a walk to the surrounding mountains, you can reach mountains resorts or passes such as:- Baremone (1450 m.) -Maniva (1664 m.) -Corna Blacca (2000 m.) Forte di Cima Ora ( a fortification of World War I 1539 m.)To practice Freeclimbing you can reach Vesta a beautiful beach with a rock face by the lake very near the Holiday home.There are two launch points for paragliding easily to reach by car: Monte Alpo (1508 m. and Monte Stino (1466 m.)You don't have to miss:- a visit to the ROCCA d'ANFO built on the rocks, used as a military base, it contains a lot of history.-The mini cruises on the boats (four times daily) departure from Crone for a round journey across the lake.
